Delete Your Account

Effective September 25, 2026Third Eye Cyborg, LLCLast updated October 6, 2026

Google Play, Apple, and our privacy obligations require a clear way to delete your account and understand what happens to your data.

On this page
  • 1. Delete in the app (fastest)
  • 2. Request-based deletion
  • 3. Subscriptions
  • 4. What is deleted
  • 5. What may be retained
  • 6. If deletion fails

1. Delete in the app (fastest)#

If you can still sign in, delete the account yourself. This starts immediately and cannot be undone.

  • Web and desktop: open Settings → Account / Danger Zone → Delete my account. Type DELETE to confirm.
  • iOS (TestFlight): if you have the TestFlight build, Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm the system prompts. Android is not available — use web or the request form below.

You must be signed in, and multi-factor authentication (if enabled) must be completed before deletion runs.

2. Request-based deletion#

If you cannot sign in, or you prefer a recorded privacy request, use the Data Subject Access Request form:

Submit a deletion request and choose the deletion option. We verify the request, then fulfill it through the same account-purge process. You will receive a tracking ID and can check status at any time.

You can also email [email protected] from the address on the account.

3. Subscriptions#

Deleting the account removes your Ascended Social profile. Web subscriptions are cancelled on the server. Store billing is not stopped automatically:

  • Apple App Store: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or Apple subscription management.
  • Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions, or Google Play subscriptions.
  • Web (Stripe / Polar) subscriptions: deletion cancels active Stripe Managed Payments (Link) subscriptions immediately, then attempts to cancel Polar subscriptions. If Stripe cancellation fails, deletion is stopped so billing cannot continue — try again. You can also cancel first from Settings → Subscription. Unused time is not refunded except as described in the refund policy.

4. What is deleted#

When deletion succeeds we remove, at minimum:

  • Your profile, username, avatar, and account settings
  • Posts, comments, messages, bookmarks, and sigils you created
  • Recommendation embeddings tied to your content
  • Cosmos history and saved tool results associated with you
  • Your Clerk sign-in identity

5. What may be retained#

We may keep limited records where the law, safety, or an open dispute requires it. Typical examples:

  • Financial records needed for tax or refund obligations
  • Moderation, abuse, or legal-hold records
  • Anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you

Retention details are in the Privacy Policy and the Notice at Collection.

6. If deletion fails#

If Stripe cannot cancel your web subscription, deletion does not run. The app reports a retryable error and your account stays intact until you try again.

If we remove your data but cannot finish deleting the sign-in identity, the app will report a failure (not a success) and ask you to contact [email protected]. Do not assume the account is gone until you see a confirmed success or we confirm fulfillment of a DSAR.
