Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms

Effective October 9, 2026Third Eye Cyborg, LLCLast updated October 9, 2026

These terms explain how paid Ascended Social subscriptions work. They're part of our Terms of Service and are written to give you the information that automatic-renewal laws require before you subscribe.

1. Plans#

Seeker is free. Mystic and Ascended are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown before you buy. Energy packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.

2. Who sells to you and charges you#

  • Web and desktop subscriptions: Web subscriptions are sold by Stripe, through Link, as merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments). Your checkout and receipt say "Sold through Link". You’ll need a free Link account to manage the subscription.
  • Web and desktop energy packs: Web energy packs are sold by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record. They are never sold through Stripe.
  • iOS and Android: On iOS and Android, subscriptions and energy packs are sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) as in-app purchases, synced by RevenueCat.

The company that sold you the purchase charges the payment method you gave it, collects any tax, and sends your receipts.

Energy and items have no cash value. Energy is never transferable. Items swap one-for-one only.

3. Automatic renewal#

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period. Each time, you're charged the then-current price for your plan until you cancel.

4. Free trials#

If a plan offers a free trial, we'll show the trial length and the price that starts afterwards before you sign up. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged that price when it ends. We'll email you about 3 days before your trial ends with the price and how to cancel. Each person or account can use the Mystic trial once.

5. Reminders#

For yearly plans, we'll email you about 35 days before each renewal with the renewal date, the price and how to cancel.

6. How to cancel#

  • Web/desktop: Settings → Subscription → Cancel. For Stripe purchases you can also cancel in your Link account at link.com. If you still have a Polar web subscription from before Stripe checkout, cancel it in Settings or from your Polar receipt.
  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or the App Store.
  • Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Cancelling online is always available, and you don't need to contact us. When you cancel, your subscription won't renew, you won't be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your Ascended account cancels a web subscription bought through Stripe (Link) and any Polar web subscription that is still live during the transition. It doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

7. Refunds#

We don't refund or credit the unused part of a billing period, except where the law requires it, where a purchase wasn't delivered or didn't work because of a problem on our side, or where we discontinue Ascended Social (then we refund unused prepaid time and unused paid energy pro rata). The company that sold you the subscription may also refund you under its own terms or the law, and we honour those refunds. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Price changes#

If we raise the price of your subscription, the new price applies only from a renewal date. We'll tell you the new price and how to cancel at least 30 days before that renewal, and we'll ask for your consent where the law or the app store requires it. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal.

9. Taxes#

Prices may or may not include tax depending on where you live. The company that sold you the subscription calculates and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST and shows it at checkout.

10. Plan quotas and Aether Guides#

Each subscription tier includes per-file size limits and a monthly storage quota for attachments sent in Networks (including projects channels) and Whispers (direct messages). Supported file types include images, videos, PDFs, plain text files, and common office documents (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX).

Documents (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX)5 MB25 MB100 MB

  • Monthly quotas reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Unused quota does not roll over to the following month.
  • Limits are enforced by the platform. Uploads that would exceed a per-file limit or exhaust the monthly quota are rejected with a descriptive error message.
  • File type limits may be adjusted as the feature matures. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
  • Archived, executable, and script file types (e.g., ZIP, EXE, SH) are not permitted regardless of subscription tier.

Safety reporting, including the in-app Child safety / CSAE report category, is available independently of subscription tier. Reports are subject to abuse prevention, review, and applicable moderation rules. Do not upload or attach suspected illegal material to a report; provide only the minimum information needed to locate the account or content.

See the Child Safety & CSAE Standards for the reporting path and the limits of our current operational disclosures.

In addition to file-attachment quotas, several creative and divination features are metered by subscription tier. Current limits include:

  • Book / long-form writing tools: word-count caps that scale by tier (approximately 25,000 words on Seeker, up to 60,000 on Mystic, and up to 120,000 on Ascended).
  • Oracle / Tarot spreads: free (Seeker) accounts receive a limited number of spreads per day (currently 3); paid tiers receive a higher or unlimited daily allowance.
  • Sigil generation and regeneration: a limited number of sigil regenerations per week that scales by tier (currently 3 on Seeker, 10 on Mystic, and effectively unlimited on Ascended, subject to fair-use limits).

These figures are illustrative of current defaults and may be adjusted for cost, abuse-prevention, or product-quality reasons as features mature. Material reductions to a paid tier's allowance will be communicated in advance.

Scheduled Flows. You can have up to 3 pending scheduled Flows, up to 7 days ahead, on Seeker; 25, up to 30 days ahead, on Mystic; and 100, up to 90 days ahead, on Ascended. Each must be at least 5 minutes in the future. When a scheduled Flow publishes, the limits of your plan at that time apply, such as the daily publishing limit and image limits. If your plan has changed, a scheduled Flow may wait for the next day's limit or fail. You can edit, cancel or delete a scheduled Flow until it starts publishing. Delete removes a scheduled Flow and its media right away. Cancelled or failed scheduled Flows are deleted after 7 days. Once a scheduled Flow publishes, we delete the scheduled copy's content; the published post stays until you delete it.

Aether Guides (AI agents for Ascended Social Networks) are offered as a premium feature for eligible paid tiers and may be marked as Preview while capabilities are being rolled out.

  • Free-tier accounts do not have access to Aether Guides while this premium-preview gating is active.
  • Tier-specific limits (for example guides per network, actions per day, and prompt-size caps) are part of the subscription offering and can differ between Mystic and Ascended.
  • Because this feature consumes AI credits, limits may be adjusted for cost, abuse prevention, or reliability during Preview.
