1. Programs offering a financial incentive#

From time to time, Ascended Social may offer programs that provide a price or service difference in exchange for the collection, retention, or sharing of personal information. Examples include referral credits, loyalty bonuses, and beta-tester research rewards.

2. Material terms#

  • What we collect: account identifier, email, referral code usage, redemption events, and program-specific feedback.
  • Value of your data: we calculate the value of personal information using the value of the incentive offered (e.g., USD value of credits, average revenue per active user, expected lifetime value uplift). The exact methodology and figures are summarised below.
  • How to opt in: you opt in by enrolling in the program; we will display the program-specific terms before enrolment.
  • How to opt out / withdraw: you can withdraw at any time by emailing [email protected] or via Settings → Privacy. Withdrawing forfeits any unredeemed incentive value.

3. Reasonable relationship to value#

The incentive offered is reasonably related to the value the personal information provides to our business. Our calculation considers (a) the marginal revenue we expect from an enrolled participant, (b) the cost of the incentive, and (c) the expected duration of the program. We do not "sell" personal information for purposes of these programs.

4. Non-discrimination#

We will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality solely because you exercised your CCPA rights, except where the difference is reasonably related to the value of your data as described in this notice.

5. Questions#
