Your Privacy Choices

Use this page to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, opt out of personalised recommendations, and submit access, correction, deletion, and portability requests.

We do not sell personal information for money and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. If you would still like a confirmation on file or want to pre-emptively opt out of any future programme that could qualify, submit your choice in the in-app Do Not Sell or Share page or email [email protected].

We only collect sensitive personal information you choose to provide (e.g., precise location for Astronomaly). You can disable precise location at any time in Settings → Privacy.

• Access — request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Portability — request a portable export of your data.
• Appeal — appeal a decision we make on a privacy request.

Submit these requests via the in-app Privacy Center or by emailing [email protected].

You may use an authorised agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require written authorisation and we will verify your identity before acting.

When you choose a feed mode (Human Mode or AI Mode) in the Akashic Engine, we store your preference in the akashic_user_preferences table linked to your user ID. This preference is used solely to route your feed through the correct ranking pipeline. It is not shared with third parties or used for advertising.

• You can change your feed mode at any time from the feed toggle or Settings → Feed Preferences.
• Your governance activity (proposals submitted, votes cast) is stored to operate the governance system and enforce the Akashic Governance Policy.
• Account deletion removes all Akashic preference and governance data.

You can set your AI execution preference in Settings → AI & Privacy using one of four modes: auto, prefer_local, prefer_cloud, or local_only.

• Prefer Local and Local Only route supported AI requests to on-device execution first.
• On compatible Apple devices, local routing can use on-device Foundation Models where available.
• In Local Only, cloud AI providers are blocked for supported generation flows; some features may be unavailable if local support is not available yet.
• Moderation and safety checks remain active in all modes for trust, safety, policy, and legal compliance.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" where applicable.

Our services don't respond to Do Not Track signals because there's no common standard for them. We do honour Global Privacy Control as described above.
