Community Guidelines
The Sacred Community Covenant
Ascended Social is a digital sanctuary — a living space where seekers gather to share wisdom, witness one another's paths, and grow in consciousness together. Every person who enters agrees to uphold this covenant: to treat this space as sacred, every member as a fellow traveler, and every interaction as an opportunity to elevate rather than diminish.
These guidelines exist not as restrictions but as a description of the community we are actively choosing to build. Violations are not moral failures — they are misalignments with that shared intention, and they are handled with clarity, fairness, and care.
Core Principles
- Authenticity Over Performance: Share your genuine spiritual experience — the doubts as much as the breakthroughs, the ordinary Tuesday as much as the peak mystical moment. Fabricated lineages, invented certifications, or manufactured spiritual authority are forms of deception that undermine the trust this community depends on.
- Consent in All Spiritual Interaction: No one is obligated to receive a reading, healing, energy work, or spiritual counsel. Always ask before offering, never pressure acceptance, and honor every refusal graciously. Unsolicited spiritual advice — however well-intentioned — is a boundary violation.
- Radical Non-Exploitation: The sacred is not a sales funnel. Using spiritual language, authority, or urgency to sell products, courses, or services in ways that exploit vulnerability, manufactured scarcity, or spiritual fear is strictly prohibited. You may mention your offerings; you may not weaponize them.
- Accountability Without Punishment: When you cause harm — and we all sometimes do — the path forward is acknowledgment, repair, and learning, not self-flagellation or defensiveness. We hold each other accountable because we believe in each other's capacity to grow.
- Protection of the Vulnerable: People in crisis, grief, spiritual emergency, or deep seeking deserve especial care. Using vulnerability as leverage — to sell, to recruit, to manipulate, or to control — is one of the most serious violations this community recognizes.
Content Standards
What belongs here
- Personal spiritual experiences, reflections, synchronicities, and path-sharing
- Teachings from recognized wisdom traditions — clearly attributed and shared respectfully
- Original creative work: poetry, art, music, and writing with spiritual themes
- Honest questions, confusion, and spiritual crisis shared in good faith
- Practices, meditations, rituals, and exercises shared without coercive framing
- Respectful critique and exploration of ideas across traditions
- Community organizing for in-person or virtual practice groups
- Elemental and chakra-aligned content that fits the platform's symbolic vocabulary
What does not belong here
- Content designed to recruit members into closed, high-control, or cult-like organizations
- Claims of medical, psychiatric, or financial benefit from spiritual practices without appropriate professional disclaimers
- "Curse removal," "dark energy clearing," or similar practices offered with urgency, fear, or transaction
- Exploitation of grief, trauma, or crisis to sell services or recruit followers
- Impersonation of living or deceased spiritual teachers or lineage holders
- Fraudulent claims about qualifications, initiations, or spiritual lineage
- Content that promotes self-harm, or frames suffering as spiritually deserved
- Graphic violence, sexual content, or content involving minors
- Spam, unsolicited promotional mass-posting, or automated engagement
- Content designed to deceive moderators or circumvent community rules
Respecting Spiritual Traditions
Ascended Social welcomes all genuine spiritual traditions. That welcome comes with responsibility.
- When sharing from a tradition that is not your heritage, acknowledge the source and your relationship to it honestly. Cultural appreciation and cultural appropriation are distinguished primarily by transparency, reciprocity, and care.
- Do not claim authority or initiation you do not have. It is always acceptable to say "I practice with influence from" rather than "I am a master of."
- Respect the sacred boundaries of closed or initiatory traditions. If a tradition's keepers have indicated that certain teachings, symbols, or practices are not for public dissemination, honor that.
- Criticism of spiritual ideas and systems is welcome. Contempt for entire traditions or their practitioners is not.
- Antisemitism, Islamophobia, anti-Christian bigotry, anti-indigenous prejudice, or hostility toward any religious or spiritual tradition as a group of people is prohibited.
Oracle and Divination Conduct
The Oracle feature surfaces community-generated content as divination-style draws. When engaging with Oracle content or sharing divination of any kind:
- Frame readings as possibilities, invitations, or reflections — never as certainties or prophecies that must be obeyed.
- Do not use Oracle draws or readings to manufacture urgency, fear, or dependency.
- Never tell someone their future is fixed, their life is cursed, or that only you can help them — this is manipulation under spiritual cover.
- Readings shared publicly become community contributions. Do not include private identifying information about specific individuals without their explicit consent.
- "Readings" offered for payment must include transparent pricing and are subject to all anti-exploitation standards.
Elemental Library Standards
Videos submitted to the Elemental Library represent the community's teachings. All Library content must:
- Be original work or clearly attributed with appropriate rights to share.
- Be accurately categorized by element (Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Aether) — intentional miscategorization to gain visibility is a violation.
- Not make specific medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial claims without appropriate professional disclaimers.
- Not include recordings of minors in spiritual or ritual contexts without clearly documented guardian consent.
- Not promote specific commercial products as spiritually necessary purchases.
- Meet a standard of genuine spiritual or educational intent — promotional content disguised as teaching will be removed.
Sacred Scrolls and Publishing
Sacred Scrolls are a collaborative publishing space for long-form spiritual wisdom. Additional standards apply:
- Authors are responsible for ensuring their work does not plagiarize copyrighted material. Quoting and citing traditional texts is encouraged; misrepresenting them as original writing is not.
- Scrolls that make specific prophetic claims presented as factual prediction must carry appropriate framing.
- Collaborative works require all named contributors to consent to publication and attribution.
- Voting on chapters is a democratic act. Coordinated downvoting, vote brigading, or coerced voting violates the integrity of the Sacred Scrolls system.
- Scrolls advocating harm to any person, group, or tradition will be removed and may result in account action.
Events: Ceremonies, Rituals, and Seances
Events are scheduled gatherings on Ascended Social. A Ceremony is a single gathering, a Ritual is a recurring gathering, and a Seance is a private gathering reserved for invited or aligned souls. Public events appear in the Sacred Feed alongside flows; private events do not. All events — public and private — are subject to the standards below.
Not allowed at any event, public or private:
- Public Ceremonies and Rituals are discoverable in the feed and through search. Anyone authenticated may RSVP or subscribe. Treat the public room as you would a public post.
- Private events (including all Seances) are invite-only, network-linked, or restricted to souls aligned with the host. Members invited to a private event are agreeing to its private nature: do not record, screenshot, or repost the contents of a private gathering without the host's explicit consent.
- Hosts are responsible for the integrity of their event. A host who repeatedly tolerates harassment, exploitation, or unsafe behaviour inside their own event may have hosting privileges restricted.
- Network-linked events inherit the rules of the linked network. If the linked network has additional rules, those apply during the event as well.
- Live event rooms — including chat, voice, and video — are covered by our AI-Powered Live Content Moderation policy (see the Whispers & Echoes section). The moderation system applies the same standards inside an event as it does in any other live surface.
- RSVP, subscription, and attendance metadata is visible to the host. Attending an event is a public action visible to other attendees; subscribing without RSVP is private.
- Reposting an event into your own feed shares the event card and a link, not the contents of the gathering itself. Reposts of private events may only include the public-facing card (title, host, time, kind) — never the room contents.
- Using a Seance or private event to circumvent the prohibitions in the Safety, Harassment, and Harm section. Privacy is not a shield for harm.
- Charging for participation in a public event without transparent, advance disclosure of the cost. Hidden or surprise paywalls inside an event are prohibited.
- Manufacturing fear, urgency, or curse-removal pressure inside an event. The same anti-exploitation standard that governs Oracle and Library applies.
- Recording or rebroadcasting any participant's voice, video, or contributions without consent. Hosts who enable recording must surface that fact to attendees before the recording begins.
- Using event RSVPs or subscribers as a marketing list. Event communications must relate to the event itself.
- Holding events that primarily exist to recruit members into closed, high-control, or cult-like organizations.
Feature-Specific Conduct (What Applies Where)
AASB (Sessions, Party Chat, Voice)
- AASB is collaborative play, not coercion. Do not pressure participants into sexual, violent, humiliating, or manipulative roleplay.
- Ask before introducing trauma-heavy themes, ritual simulation, possession themes, or emotionally intense prompts.
- Persistent targeting, exclusion, or dogpiling of a player counts as harassment even when framed as roleplay.
- AASB voice follows the same no-slur, no-threat, no-harassment standards as every live audio surface.
- Do not frame AASB AI narrative output as medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial instruction.
Discovery, Akashic, Cosmos, Networks, and Whispers
- Discovery and Akashic outputs are reflective prompts, not absolute truth; do not weaponize them to control others.
- Claims of hidden control over recommendation or ranking systems are manipulative and prohibited.
- Cosmos and Astronomaly discovery cannot be used for stalking, doxxing, or coordinated targeting.
- Whispers are private but not exempt: coercion, threats, sexual misconduct, and exploitative pressure are prohibited in DMs.
- Network channels (text, voice, video, announcements, and projects) follow the same anti-hate, anti-harassment, and anti-incitement rules as all live spaces.
- File attachments (PDFs, documents, videos) must comply with all content policies. Sending prohibited content via file attachment carries the same consequences as posting it directly.
- Executable files, scripts, and archives are blocked by the platform. Attempting to disguise prohibited file types through renaming is a policy violation.
- Monthly attachment quotas are per-account. Sharing credentials to pool quota, or using automation to circumvent per-file limits, violates these guidelines.
Soul Profile and Visibility Preferences
- Soul profile identity, sigil narrative, and bio details must not impersonate others or fabricate credentials.
- Respect each user's visibility choices; do not pressure people to reveal private identity, location, or lineage details.
- Do not screenshot and redistribute limited-visibility profile content to bypass user intent.
- Following, invites, and message outreach should honor explicit boundaries and privacy settings.
Quick Surface Map
- AASB: collaborative roleplay and party coordination; no coercive roleplay, dogpiling, or harmful voice conduct.
- Whispers: private communication; private does not exempt harassment, threat, or sexual misconduct rules.
- Networks and channels: community coordination and live practice across text, voice, video, announcements, and projects; no hate, intimidation, incitement, or pressure recruitment loops.
- Moments and live calls: real-time sharing and teaching; no harmful live media and no non-consensual recording.
- Cosmos and Astronomaly: discovery and exploration; no stalking, doxxing, or private-location leakage.
- Discovery and Akashic: reflective discovery support; no manipulation claims, ranking intimidation, or governance abuse.
- Soul profile and visibility controls: identity and discoverability settings must be respected by all users.
AI Discovery, Search, and Safety Systems
Ascended Social uses automated AI systems and human moderation in different parts of its safety process. Content submitted to or delivered through the hosted platform — including public content and private communication with hosted users — is subject to those processes. Which checks apply can vary by surface, content, account settings, and safety context.
- Search and recommendations may use retrieval, ranking, and summarization systems across published posts, elements, books, and chapters. These systems are designed to help discovery; they do not determine truth, lineage legitimacy, or spiritual authority.
- Automated safety checks may review text, images, video frames, audio transcripts, and publication context for spam, exploitation, self-harm risk, prohibited commercial pressure, copyright concerns, or other policy violations.
- AI-assisted checks may automatically restrict content or live sessions in some circumstances, and some cases may be escalated to a human moderator. Human review may also follow user reports or be used for appeals and other decisions needing moderator judgment. We do not promise that every post, message, report, or automated decision receives an individual human review.
- If an AI service is degraded or unavailable, the product may fall back to simpler discovery methods rather than fabricate results or silently ignore safety requirements.
- Where a human review or appeal is available, moderators can consider context and may uphold, change, or escalate an automated outcome.
- Trying to manipulate recommendation, search, or moderation systems through keyword stuffing, mass automation, duplicate accounts, or adversarial uploads is a policy violation.
Federation and Independently Self-Hosted Services
Federation is planned, but it has no launch date and isn't available today, and plans can change. If independent self-hosted services connect in the future, Ascended Social would not moderate every service or exchange: private exchanges solely among users of those services that never pass through Ascended Social may be outside our moderation and visibility.
- When federation launches, public content delivered to Ascended Social and private communications involving Ascended Social-hosted users would remain subject to Ascended Social's moderation processes and Community Guidelines. Private messages involving Ascended Social-hosted users aren't proactively reviewed or checked by AI; they're reviewed by Ascended staff only when someone in the conversation reports them, or where the law requires.
- Independent self-host operators and their users would be responsible for choosing and enforcing rules for their services and for complying with applicable law.
- When federation launches, do not assume that content or conduct on an independent service is reviewed, removed, or investigated by Ascended Social. Use that service's reporting and support channels for issues within its control.
Reporting, Flags, and Moderator Review
Members can report posts, comments, Elemental Library videos, Sacred Books and chapters, chat and channel messages, live event and AASB sessions, and Events directly from the app. Reporting is a community safety tool and should be used sincerely, not as retaliation.
- Use reporting when content appears unsafe, exploitative, deceptive, plagiarized, harassing, or otherwise out of alignment with these guidelines.
- False, malicious, or coordinated reporting intended to silence a person or viewpoint is itself a moderation issue.
- Reports enter an internal moderator queue so moderators can review the report reason, the content itself, and related enforcement context. A queue entry does not mean every item receives an individual human review or immediate action.
- We aim to review child-safety and immediate-danger reports within 24 hours, and all other reports within 3 business days.
- Content may remain visible during review unless the risk is urgent enough to require immediate intervention.
- Appeals are routed for human review rather than decided solely by automated systems; prior enforcement history may be considered.
Safety, Harassment, and Harm
Safety is not negotiable. The following are prohibited regardless of spiritual framing or intent:
- Harassment, intimidation, stalking, or persistent unwanted contact toward any member.
- Doxxing: sharing anyone's private location, identity, or personal information without consent.
- Threats of spiritual harm, curses, or negative energetic interference directed at specific individuals.
- Sexual harassment, including unsolicited sexual messages, imagery, or propositions under any framing.
- Content designed to manipulate someone into self-harm or dangerous behavior through spiritual authority.
- Coordinated attacks: organizing groups to harass, silence, or drive out a specific member.
- Misuse of the Oracle or other features to deliver targeted harassment.
Spiritual Emergency and Mental Health
Spiritual emergency — intense states that can accompany meditation, plant medicine work, grief, or rapid awakening — is real and deserves compassionate response, not pathologizing or exploitation.
If you are in crisis: In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Internationally, visit findahelpline.com for local resources.
- If a member appears to be in crisis, ground your response in care and refer them toward professional support where appropriate. Do not attempt to "spiritually process" someone out of a mental health emergency.
- Framing suicidal ideation as a spiritual awakening or shamanic initiation without professional support is dangerous. Treat mental health crises as mental health crises.
- Do not use someone's disclosed trauma, crisis history, or vulnerability as material for readings, teachings, or commentary without their full, informed consent.
- Community members are not therapists. Deep spiritual witnessing is valuable; it is not a substitute for professional care.
Identity, Accounts, and Authenticity
- One Account Per Person: Creating multiple accounts to evade moderation, amplify your own content, or circumvent restrictions is a serious violation that may result in permanent removal of all associated accounts.
- Honest Representation: You may use a spiritual name or practice name. You may not impersonate another living teacher, public figure, or community member. You may not misrepresent your professional credentials, qualifications, or organizational affiliations.
- Bot and Automation Disclosure: Automated accounts must clearly identify themselves as such. Using bots to inflate engagement, automate posting, or manipulate community metrics is prohibited.
- Deceased Teachers: Channeling or speaking on behalf of deceased spiritual teachers as though with authority is permitted as personal practice; it may not be used to make pronouncements that bind or control community members.
Enforcement and Appeals
Moderation at Ascended Social is designed to be fair, transparent, and proportionate. We do not remove content or take account action lightly.
We are not perfect. If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, tell us. We will review it with fresh eyes.
- Warnings: Most first-time violations receive an explanation and an opportunity to correct the behavior.
- Content removal: Specific posts, videos, or books that violate standards may be removed with a notice explaining which guideline was violated.
- Temporary suspension: Repeated violations or serious single violations may result in temporary account access restriction.
- Permanent removal: Severe violations — including exploitation of vulnerable members, doxxing, sexual harassment, or coordinated abuse — may result in immediate permanent account closure.
- All significant enforcement actions are reviewable. To appeal, contact support and include your account name and a description of the situation.
Astronomaly: Sacred Locations & Legal Responsibility

- Do not trespass on private property, gated communities, or land where you do not have explicit permission to be. You are personally and legally responsible for verifying property ownership and access rights before visiting any location identified by Astronomaly.
- Never use Astronomaly to gain access to, photograph, monitor, or visit military installations, government facilities, secure perimeters, airports, or any restricted or prohibited areas. Unauthorized access to such facilities violates federal and state laws and may result in criminal charges.
- Respect residential property boundaries. Do not use Astronomaly to identify or visit residential properties without express permission from the owner or legal occupant. Trespassing on residential land is illegal.
- When sharing Astronomaly discoveries in the community, do not provide specific directions, access methods, or detailed location guidance for locations you have reason to believe are private, restricted, or where access is legally contested.
- Astronomaly location data comes from third-party open-source databases (OpenStreetMap, Overpass API) and may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or user-generated. Always independently verify information before visiting any location and respect real-world conditions on arrival.
- Respecting local communities: When visiting locations identified by Astronomaly, be respectful of local residents, land stewards, and existing spiritual practitioners. If you encounter No Trespassing signs, locked gates, or local resistance, leave immediately and do not attempt to circumvent restrictions.
- Never use Astronomaly to facilitate illegal activities including trespassing, stalking, harassment, theft, property damage, or any other criminal conduct. Users who violate these standards may face account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Geographic Restrictions & Service Availability
Creator Monetisation & External Support Links
Ascended Social provides creators with the ability to link one external creator-support page — such as a Patreon profile — directly on their public soul profile. This feature is designed to help the community discover and support the creators whose work they value.
By adding an external support link, creators and users accept the following terms:
⚠️ Legal Disclaimer: External support links on Ascended Social are user-generated content provided solely for community convenience. Third Eye Cyborg, LLC makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the content, accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, or suitability of any linked third-party page. Third Eye Cyborg, LLC expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or harm — financial, reputational, or otherwise — arising from or related to transactions, interactions, or content on third-party creator-support platforms reached through links displayed on this platform.
- External support links (including Patreon) are third-party services. Ascended Social is not affiliated with Patreon, Inc. or any other creator-support platform and has no commercial relationship with them. Ascended Social does not process, facilitate, hold, or receive any portion of donations, subscriptions, tips, or other payments made through external platforms.
- Creators are solely responsible for the accuracy of their linked page, the content of their Patreon or other external profile, and their compliance with the third-party platform's own terms of service, community standards, tax reporting obligations, and any applicable consumer protection laws.
- Supporters who click an external support link leave Ascended Social and enter a third-party service. Any transaction made on that third-party platform is subject to that platform's terms and policies, not ours. We encourage all supporters to review the terms and content of any external platform before completing a purchase or subscription.
- External support links must point to the creator's own legitimate creator-support page. Links to affiliate programs, referral schemes, investment solicitations, fundraising campaigns for third parties, commercial storefronts, or any page not operated directly by the creator as a personal creative support channel are not permitted.
- Creators may not use the Patreon link field to engage in pressure-based or manipulative fundraising, crisis exploitation, guaranteed-return schemes, or to solicit funds under false pretences. Any page that violates our Core Principles or Content Standards — including pages making unsubstantiated medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial claims — is not permitted.
- Ascended Social reserves the right to remove any external support link that violates these guidelines, is reported as fraudulent or deceptive, or is associated with a pattern of platform abuse. Creators may appeal removal decisions through the standard moderation appeal process.
- Ascended Social does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the quality, honesty, safety, or legality of any creator's Patreon or linked external page. The presence of an external support link on a creator's profile does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by Ascended Social.
- Creators bear full responsibility for understanding and complying with income reporting, self-employment tax, and consumer protection obligations in their jurisdiction when receiving support through external platforms.
Moods, Intentions, and Sigil Trading
Moods and Intentions describe the tone and purpose of a post. Mood is a tag shown with the post to anyone who can see it, so people can search by tone. Sigils generated from your activity can be traded with other members within a limited window after creation.
- Share Moods and Intentions honestly. Do not pick a misleading Mood or write an urgent Intention to manipulate others into attention, sympathy, or spiritual services.
- Do not use another member's shared Mood or Intention as an opening to deliver unsolicited spiritual advice, readings, or sales pitches — the consent standard in our Core Principles applies here too.
- Sigils are tradeable for a limited time after generation (currently 24 hours) before that trading window closes. Do not use automation, bots, or coordinated accounts to manipulate sigil trading, corner scarce sigils, or launder Energy Points through sham trades.
- Misrepresenting a sigil's origin, rarity, or generation history to another member in a trade is a form of deception and will be treated as such.
Avatars, Evolution, and the Avatar Marketplace
Avatars can be generated, evolved through platform activity, and listed for other members to view. Community avatars and sigils are not purchased with Energy Points — they may only be exchanged item-for-item. Official first-party Avatar Studio items, when offered, are a single-user energy spend.
- Avatar evolution gates are tied to genuine platform activity. Do not use automation, multiple accounts, or exploits to farm evolution progress or Energy Points artificially.
- Listings in the Avatar Marketplace must accurately represent the avatar's evolution stage, traits, and generation history. Misleading listings are a policy violation.
- Energy Points cannot buy another member's avatar or sigil. See our Creator & Monetisation Terms. Attempts to convert Energy Points to real-world currency outside platform-approved mechanisms are prohibited.
- Swap avatars and sigils one-for-one. Items and energy have no cash value and can't be sold for money. Report a real-money sale on an item, swap, or profile.
- Avatar imagery — including AI-generated and Meshy-rendered 3D assets — must still comply with all Content Standards, including our prohibitions on sexualized depictions of minors and impersonation of real people.
Soul States and Presence Authenticity
Soul States are the live presence tags that describe what a member is currently doing on Ascended Social. There are seven states: Sleep (offline), Dream (REM / quiet-focus mode), Lucid (online but idle), Experiencing (consuming content), Sharing (creating or going live), Connecting (in a call), and Meditating (in a focused practice session). These states are set automatically by your activity or manually through your profile presence controls.
- Soul States must reflect genuine activity. Do not use automation, scripts, or coordinated behaviour to artificially trigger or hold a state for visibility, ranking, or social influence purposes.
- Dream mode (REM) is a do-not-disturb signal. Sending persistent Whispers, repeated call requests, or network pings to someone in Dream state is a form of boundary violation and will be treated as harassment.
- Do not claim or imply that another member's Soul State carries spiritual meaning beyond its platform definition — for example, framing someone's Sleep or Dream state as a sign of spiritual unavailability, withdrawal, or rejection.
- Presence data, including Soul States, is protected by each user's privacy settings. Do not attempt to infer, track, or share another member's presence patterns without their consent.
- Meditating and Experiencing states are self-declared practice signals. Using them deceptively — for example, to appear unavailable while posting — violates the authenticity standards in our Core Principles.
Living Document
These guidelines will evolve as this community does. Major changes will be announced in the Sacred Feed before taking effect. Your continued participation after announced changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
